This website is my NEW FAVE!!!
Not only can you make trading cards out of family members, but you can turn your dog into a Picasso, your husband into a WANTED Poster, scrapbook on a scrap-blog, or create a music video, brochure or newsletter. I turned my daughter into a postage stamp, at right. So fun, I spent an hour playing around. Great gaga gift potential here. And something unique for the next party invite!

WLS Learns!
Well, I am once again participating in a web 2.0 project to expand my mind and learn. (Yippeee!)
When I did this same thing with other librarians two years ago, I was very successful, and really enjoy my blog, Roseann-the-librarian.blogspot.com; and
going on FLickr to see pictures from our Riverfront Programs:
(Just Google us, for instance, Yonkers Library); contacting teens
via MySpace about our AniManga Club (See:URL: myspace.com/animangaypl);
and working in Wikipedia to create the Yonkers Public Library Page, with John Favareau, the local Historian.
Hope everyopone enjoys this program. I found it very useful.
We also created Wikis at our library to keep track of favorite websites for Ready Reference and frequently-asked-for webpage documents, like hard to locate tax forms. The sky's the limit!
Just have fun.

GOODREADS.Com totally Rocks for Librarians!
Hello faithful readers!
I have been an active Member of Goodreads.com for several months now, and I am very happy to report that is has exceeded by expectations.
Not only do I have a great record of what I have read, but I have emailed with authors (even famous ones like Neil Gaiman), I have befriended new librarians in other states, and I have kept track of what my crazy friends are reading.
Finally, I have entered and finally won a free ARC copy of a new book to review for Goodreads audience members.
Please check out Goodreads, a social networking, email, bragging, hard-reading and fun website for those not afraid to read!
