I Just Won NaNoWriMo !!!!

Yes, I have done what I thought was impossible and I have written a 50,000 word novel in less than 30 days time, and with little or no sacrifice in time to my demanding little daughter and big hubby! LOL! Go me. I can have some chocolate cake now! Whew!

My Newest Feature!

I just began a Bloglines account, and along with my Blogspot account, Myspace & Facebook accounts, Wetpaint account for our teen animanga club, and my email, I am ALL Pssword-ed Out! Sheesh...I am going to just use 'Frustrated" as my password from now on because I can't remember what goes with what. SO much for technology making my life less stressful!

NaNoWriMo.org !

Yes, people, I have taken the plunge and for the past...GULP!...25 days I have been writing my little heart out in an attempt to write my first novel through the NaNoWriMo.org site ( National Novel Writing Month, for the non-initiated!) I am up to 27,000 words and counting in 24 days, so wish me luck.
-- Hence the paucity of blogs in the past month or so!

twilight PARTY!

Yes....the movie TWILIGHT releases today and the excitement is palpable! Our own slice of the excitement begins at 3pm today with our TWILIGHT pre-party. Howling contest, book trivia, arm wrestling, red-velvet cupcakes,button-making, candy, oh my! I am personally on Team Jacob when it comes to characters for likeability, but I understand the allure of Edward. Frankly, I think it would be difficult to date a guy who sparkles in sunlight. I'd rather have a nice cozy-warm werewolf on a dark Forks evening, or NY evening....Hmmmm! Happy Holidays everyone! - RP
