Located near Columbia University & St. John the Divine Church, it is a perfect place to pick up The Onion, grab some inexpensive coffee table books, or even get the latest and greatest in fiction and non-fiction, foreign translations, sociology, religion, history, music or art, or even...gasp!...the Classics! I have been going here for half a decade and will not shop elsewhere. The staff is supremely intelligent & helpful, and if they don't have it (rarely) they'll find it and try to order it for you. Deep discount book carts are outside all summer long, too!
